RIP, hope you join the drummers paradise ...
Jim cared about his fans....these pages prove it
Jimmy was a great musician and performer. He will be missed, but not forgotten.
I never had the pleasure of meeting him but I do have the honor of being a very close friend of his beautiful amazing daughter Gabby whom I'm blessed to have in my life each and every day and tho she may not have inherited his musical genius she is very creative in all she does so I say Thank You to the man who leaves behind talent to be heard and enjoyed for generations to come and most of all for his masterpiece Gabrielle Cohen'Black.
I met Jimmy in the early 90's at the Sheldon Ballroom in St. Louis. I had the pleasure of hanging out with him. What a great experience to meet a legend. He will be missed.
only just heard the sad news. R.I.P.

Respect to the 'indian of the group'
My sympathies for the family. JCB was well liked by many. Good luck.
Jimmy, you will be missed so much! Some of my fondest memories are of hanging wtih you and Big Sonny back in El Paso, being there when you guys recorded the In Heat album, sharing so many laughs and good times...Do you remember getting so frustrated with my son clomping around on the wood floors of the studio at Con Safo records? :-)

My thoughts and prayers to your family. I know they must be celebrating your life while struggling with their loss.

Love,
Barb
