Yo Jimmy..Is Frank making any deals with the Man? Will always miss the days with The Mothers! RIP!
Thanx Jimmy for all the excitement
Jeez, JCB is gone. Brought back memories of high school in '69. We'd put a stack of Mothers LPs on the turntable and just keep turning them over all afternoon. No one else got it. Saw you play at the old Paul's Mall in Boston. You were a great drummer, a terrific character, and a better person.

See Frank when you get there. He said he's got your check.
So sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I loved him and his music. Met him at a concert many years ago of Jeronimo Black in Los Angeles. I remember him singing these words at the end of a song: "...and I want to ask you who...are the savages?"
He told me (after that concert) that he felt Frank Zappa cheated him out of a million dollars. However that may be, I felt Jimmy's energy as positive and basically honest. I'll always remember him whenever I think of his work and hear the music of The Mothers of Invention.
Bye Jimmy, you'll be missed, you don't want us to be
sad, so I'll just listen to Lonesome Cowboy Burt &
smile in your memory.
Goodbye Jimmy

68 Miami Rock Fest.
Electrician
RIP Jimmy. The downstairs neighbors had to put up with The Mothers last night and will have to deal with Geronimo Black tonight. Thanks for the wonderful music and great sense of humor!
Heaven will have one hell of a jam band tonight! My condolences to his beloved family~
Jimmy "graduates". Say "hi" to all the boys and girls wherever you are now. As the home page says, "Jimmy doesn't want us to be sad". Me? I'm going to have a beer or three and toast this wonderful Cowboy Burt of a man. Rock on, Jimmy.

If you see the Ayatollah Khomeni playing "a kind of a flute" in That Big Band In The Sky, kick him in the nuts for me...
He was a big part of the music of my youth. My sympathy goes out to his family. I think that his contribution to the whole Mothers scene, will be revered and recognized by many future generations. They were true pioneers. May you find good hunting, Warrior.
