RIP my old friend... Hope there's some good fun up there in Rock & Roll Heaven... I'm not sad...
Jimmy, I worked with you several times as an audio engineer in Austin. Each time was a pleasure and an honor. RIP.
RIP You and Frank will live on forever.
Jimmy thanks for some classics that I personally will never forget. RIP and I am not sad. I hope your jammin' with FZ now.
Jimmy, you were one in a million. You still are.
My condolences to the family. Keep those wonderful memories alive.
Another great musician up in heaven, what a band they have up there!God Bless!
Dear Jimmy,

I never met you or knew who you were until I read CNN, and now it's a real drag. I'm really sorry and hope to find some old recordings to listen to in your honor. Bye the way dude, you don't know what broke is. Try living in Vegas, or not living in Vegas. I mean, God, you were overseas at least. Maybe you were trying to save up enough cash to get back home, and to what? A pack of reservation smokes? Another five bucks? Another false promise on a bar napkin?
Anyway Jimmy Carl Black, to forever more!
Sorry to hear that another legend is gone to Heaven's Rock Band in the sky. Back in 1970 my Father was flying up to Montreal, Canada and he brought me back a few gifts and he told me that he met a really nice group of guys that were on the same flight and he brought me back an autograph from the band. To this day I still have that autograph in my scrapbook of concerts that I went to back then. I always loved Rock Music and still do..Rock ON MY Brother !!!

God Bless
So sorry to hear this! Our thoughts are with your family, Jimmy.
We had fun having you over last year for a BBQ watching your concert at KingsX in the backyard-we will watch the documentary about you the "Girls" have made, and we will have good memories. Yes, we know, it was a pain in the neck for you this movie (but also fun), but now, we're glad to did it!
You will be watching with us, I know!
sorry for the loss of a great drummer ...
