You'r be jamming with Frank now, thanks for the music, RIP Jimmy
sending this on behalf of my friend Buddy in El Paso, Tx who is a good friend of his son....Rest in Peace my Friend and know that now there is no pain..You will be missed greatly by not only family but friends and fans alike.
I'm so sorry about Jimmy's passing. I remember him telling me - while at the Garrick Theater in The Village in 1967 - that he had lost a Jesus look-alike contest because his hair was too long. He was a funny guy and very tallented. We will miss him.
RIP Jimmy, your music will live on...
Bless ya Jimmy Carl Black. Will tip a quart of beer to you.
Thank you for the music! Rest in Peace!

cheers, gerry
Loved the Mothers the first time I heard Freak Out in 1966.
Was hooked on everything Frank produced from then on.
The Music Business sucks !
Prevents artistic freedom, $ isn't everything, but we need it to survive, unfortunately.
Rest In Peace Jimmy, Frank is Glad to See You Again!
REST IN PEACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for being you, Jimmy. When we meet down the road I'll want to know where to get beer and if *anyone* gets paid in heaven.
REST IN PEACE JIMMY
