I am a journalist in California. I just finishd a piece on Mr. Black before he died. I was going to include contact info in the article, for people who want to order music from JCB. Do you know if the addresses email@example.com OR http://www.myspace.com/jimmycarlblack1 will allow people to order his music?
thank you
j.poet
A four cd box set covering jimmy's career except for the mothers years. Obvious reasons with Gail Zappa and lawsuits. Jim had so much great music without incorporating those years , that a box set is more than welcome. thanks jim.
Hi Jimmy,

This very sad news came in thru Volker and still keeps me weeping bitterly Im totally aware that this is not the mood you wanted to create but it simply reflects the feeling I have for you as your friend and former manager DEEP LOVE !!!!!!!

Rest in peace

Love,
Wolfgang
I feel like a jerk just now learning of Jimmy's passing. I was able to meet him, Bunk and Don at a Grandmothers show here in Northampton ...gosh, it must have been around 2000. I'm glad I got that opportunity, all three of them were fantastic.

RIP Indian of the group :(
cya Jimmy and say hello to frank for me
Hi ! I remember meeting Jimmy (and Don Preston) in-94 after a Grandmothers-gig in Stockholm. My friend and me invited Jimmy and Don to a party later the same nite but the had to leave early the next to go to Italy. I said: You do get áround.Jimmy said: - Yeah man, balls to the walls! What a great guy! Rest in peace , buddy!
So long pal. Thanks for all the fine music and fun over the years. This life that we live is one short ride and I'll see you up the road a piece. Keep the beer cold for me.. Peace & Love Forever.
I'll never forget 1970 backstage at the Santa Monica civic center when Jimmy sang, "I got a Feeling" by the Beatles, as he exhaled a joint two inches in front my face. Rest in peace my friend.
Thanks for everything Mr. Black
We'll all join you some day.
