Only just found out that Jimmy left the building. Saw Jimmy with the muffin men last year. Awesome performance! Spent ages talking to him about seeing him with Chadbourne some 20 years earlier. A really friendly guy and an absolute legend. Deeply missed and greatly respected!
Jimmy,<br /><br />Pleasure to meet you that time you came down here with the Muffin Men, saw what a cool guy you really were then , thanks for the memories and 'Trouble Comin' Every Day'<br /><br />R.I.P
Thanks for providing the answer to the question, "Does humor belong in Music?" And thanks for maintaining a musical presence thru it all. You were an inspiration on your own terms.
Damn it Sonny, have tickets to Germany for next fall and was going to look you up. Another home-boy gone to the band in the sky. You were one of the most beautiful (mellow) cats I ever knew in music and always ready to jam. Found out about your passing last Saturday night with another EP boy while we were eating some home made green enchilladas. Peace my brother!
The friendliest fellow musician I've ever met. He will surely be missed.
