I saw the original Mothers with Jimmy...

I saw the original Mothers with Jimmy in Phoenix, AZ at the Circle Star Theatre shortly after "Freak Out" was released (must have been around 1967). I've always held it against Zappa that he destroyed the original Mothers line-up. Jimmy will be missed. Very, very sad...

RIP Jimmy Carl ... one of the more...

RIP Jimmy Carl ... one of the more overlooked, yet supremely talented, musicians in a pool of virtuosity that is the Zappa family. Much love to his family and fans everywhere, this is a huge loss.

Buy his music.

Peace to all.

Jimmy is much more than a great...

Jimmy is much more than a great musician and entertainer, Jimmy was & always will always be a friend of his fans. I was lucky enough not only to have corresponded many times by email over the years with Jimmy, to which I purchased a great part of his collection all signed J.C.B. at an unheard of price always followed with a freebee of some sort, but had the great pleasure of having had Jimmy come to my hotel room to meet my wife & myself once he heard that one of his fans had travelled from Canada to Albuquerque NM & was staying in the same hotel as he. The show was a real treat held in a small club of not much more than 100 people most of them family & friends. I will always cherish seeing The Jack & Jimmy Show with Mr. Eugene Chadbourne, Oct. 2007. Con Safo Jimmy, your Canadian fan Dan
