Heaven will have one hell of a jam band tonight! My condolences to his beloved family~
Jimmy "graduates". Say "hi" to all the boys and girls wherever you are now. As the home page says, "Jimmy doesn't want us to be sad". Me? I'm going to have a beer or three and toast this wonderful Cowboy Burt of a man. Rock on, Jimmy.

If you see the Ayatollah Khomeni playing "a kind of a flute" in That Big Band In The Sky, kick him in the nuts for me...
He was a big part of the music of my youth. My sympathy goes out to his family. I think that his contribution to the whole Mothers scene, will be revered and recognized by many future generations. They were true pioneers. May you find good hunting, Warrior.

I am so saddened to hear of Jimmy's passing.
I have repeated his trademark line so many times to friends of mine over the years, usually to looks of puzzlement!
I loved that line.
I loved the Mothers.
Time is passing us so quickly.
My condolences to Jimmy's family.

Rick Ceragioli
JCB - you were wonderful and will be sorely missed.

"Opal, you Hot Little Bitch" has remained in my repetoire of lines for years and will remain there.

We'll see you on the other side.

M.
Jimmy!
God speed! Thanks for all the joy you have givenme in my life, I have been listening to you since I was 11 or 12, actually met you @ a show when I was 13! Thanks!
Oh, my twin sister and I used to go to the village in the 60's and see you guys play. We were pretty young and I had the biggest crush on you, my friend!!! I could never stop looking at you. One time we walked across the street and Frank treated us to soda or something. Well, you are in a better place so start playing those drums so we can hear you down here and I'll you again one day.
God bless,
trisha
