Dear Jimmy,

I never met you or knew who you were until I read CNN, and now it's a real drag. I'm really sorry and hope to find some old recordings to listen to in your honor. Bye the way dude, you don't know what broke is. Try living in Vegas, or not living in Vegas. I mean, God, you were overseas at least. Maybe you were trying to save up enough cash to get back home, and to what? A pack of reservation smokes? Another five bucks? Another false promise on a bar napkin?
Anyway Jimmy Carl Black, to forever more! You rule!!

Poe Bo' (ha ha ha ha)

Mike
Sorry to hear that another legend is gone to Heaven's Rock Band in the sky. Back in 1970 my Father was flying up to Montreal, Canada and he brought me back a few gifts and he told me that he met a really nice group of guys that were on the same flight and he brought me back an autograph from the band. To this day I still have that autograph in my scrapbook of concerts that I went to back then. I always loved Rock Music and still do..Rock ON MY Brother !!!

God Bless
So sorry to hear this! Our thoughts are with your family, Jimmy.
We had fun having you over last year for a BBQ watching your concert at KingsX in the backyard-we will watch the documentary about you the "Girls" have made, and we will have good memories. Yes, we know, it was a pain in the neck for you this movie (but also fun), but now, we're glad to did it!
You will be watching with us, I know!
sorry for the loss of a great drummer ...
My favorite Mother. You will be missed.
So sad to hear the news of JCB`s passing.

I was lucky enough to meet him a couple of times when he was touring with the Muffin Men,and he always found the time to speak to his fans, nothing seemed like too much trouble.

The world is a poorer place without him,but as an Indian,I`m sure his spirit will live on forever.

Condolences to his friends & family, and one day Jimmy, I hope to meet you again.

RIP Jim, we`ll miss you. :-(
Orale Sonny, cunyados forever man.
I met you at Friars Pub in Abq thirty years ago. One of the highlights of my life. We talked for an hour after a gig you played with a bunch of old guys, some of the best music ever. RIP Jimmy.
Lo through all these years. He was my friend. RIP
God bless you, you made music. you touched souls with your generous spirit.

May you find everlasting peace, my brother!

Much love to you.
My prayers are with you and your family.

Charles Biddle
