Jeez-I've been out of the loop too long. I didn't know until now that Jim had left us. He was one of my favorite Mothers, and I'm sad I'll never get to meet him - but thanks my friend for the memories!
Hey Jimmy, I have been listening to you sing for longer than I can remember. I think your voice is cool and I wish I had your sound. Maybe you could give me a shout back. It would be like I was getting your autograph. I'm an old Mothers fan and have been since the early 1960s. I really like the work you put in on Harder Than Yer husband. Getting an email from you would give an old guy like me a real thrill. Thanks... Sam
Goodbye Jimmy, I miss you. Thank you for all the fun in Albuquerque, El Paso, and Austin! !Con Safo!
We have been to Bad Doberan again for the Zappanale. The JCB thing was a nice tribute to a great man and musician. It was nice to meet Moni again. We saw Geronimo on the the stage but didn't get a chance to have a word with him. Luv, Dave and Nicola, xxx

Tell them to induct him in 2010...
And as he would say,, Thanks Mucho...
Jimmy
I had the very distinct pleasure of knowing Jimmy quite well in Austin late 1980's
He had a way of making you ( or I at the time )
of feeling as if you were the most important person around, usually a technique only employed by the best of media types, but with Jimmy you knew that he was sincere.
Austin Texas could have been alot more respectful of the great historical rock persona in their midst, but they let him slip on by with no fanfare or adulation.
It does warm my heart that Jimmy spent his waning years in such a picturesque place.
Rock on great drummer, great person, and great spirit.
Love Always Ed
